I'm thinking of getting a Rev C(?) 12" Powerbook but I'm worried with the problems that I've been reading on this forum. So far I've read of the low LCD quality used as the screen & thermal issues. So are there any other things I should know about before getting one?

I've had both the Rev A and Rev B PowerBooks, and neither gave me any major hardware problems (other than detached rubber feet).

Just remember that what you see on these forums should not necessarily be construed as general occurances experienced by all. Go somewhere that sells them and look at it, use it, get a feel for it and make your own decision.

A friend of mine just bought a 1.33 12" and absolutely loves it. Although his first 12 did come to him with a cut in the screen, he was able to exchange it with a powerbook no questions asked.

As soon as you buy it, you should open it up right there and make sure everything looks alright. Otherwise, it'll be difficult to prove that it was a manufacturer defect rather then user neglect.
