I am new to Mac, first
When I type on my new 17" PB if I start with a sentence in a 'cap"
If I type fast it looks like the.....HEllo..... not Hello.
It makes the second letter a cap, if I go fast, on the PC it never did, can I fix it.
PLease.....see what I mean
Second
How can I get the tiny USA flag next to the display, bluetooth, volume icons. Where can I get a flag and how do I put it there, I've seen them on the web forums.
Also YAhoo and AOL have good chat rooms, Does apple like iChat. To talk with others like chicks
Thanks

Are you using the Shift key, or Caps Lock?

Open the System Preferences application. Click on International, and click on the "Input Menu" tab. Make sure the "Show Input Menu in menu bar" is checked.

Welcome aboard!
I actually learned how to type by living on AIM and on message boards like this.

I know so many people who do it, some who even type with more than two fingers. If nobody taught you how to type, and that was the first way you found to get capitals, I guess the habit sticks...

That happens to me on the PC, anyway. When you type quickly, sometimes the shift-key finger gets sloppy and doesn't quite get off the key fast ENough -- see, there it goes again!!

It happens to me on my PB also. Never happens when I have a full size regular keyboard (PC or Mac). You'll get used to it... It's just your pinky finger sticking onto the key... different ergonomics... that's my theory...
