Limewire is a Gnutella-based file "sharing" program. My suggestion is... don't pirate software - period. The people who write code for the best programs work their tails off to bring us the goods - don't screw them. Also, many of the programs you could download on Limewire may not be complete installs and may be unstable.
Most of the best things for the Mac (besides the Apple or Adobe creative products) are created by cool niche companies that are really hurt by piracy. Many of these companies, as well as the bigger ones like Adobe, offer shareware or trial versions of all of their software - this enables you to try before you buy.
Maybe you should tell everyone here what you want to do with your machine and what programs you already have - that would help us to help you in your quest to download some cool stuff.
For now, essential for the PB - sidetrack (ragingmenace.com) - lets you add scroll and tap functionality to your track pad.
Adobe offers fully functional trial versions of most of their programs - Photoshop, etc.
enough for now - tell us what you have and what you want to do with your new PB. Congrats on the purchase, I have a PB 17 1.33 - love it.
