hello all, this is my first time on this board and would like to ask for your assistance in trying to locate outer screw set for my 12" powerbook. i have searched everywhere, even ebay looking for anyone trying to part out their 12" pb but to no avail. if any one has any information on where i might be able to purchase the outer screw sets please help me out. the previous owner took it apart and lost most of the screws.

Try searching google with "powerbook parts". Few places should come up.

You can also go to your local Apple service provider and see if they sell/give away them.

yeah i tried pbfixit, and others. they seem to have screws for the titanium but not for the aluminum powerbooks. i even tried the san francisco appple store at the genius bar and they looked at me crazy. lol they said that i should not be messing with that and it should be somthing that i should send in - and all i wanted are some outer screws. i have fixed many powerbook in the past but i didnt wantt o argue with the guy. anyways, thanxs for your info, much apprecited.
