I have someone offering me a 512MB module that is said to be compatible with my Pismo. They have an ibook 800Mhz which they say it isnt compatible with.

Can you identify this module for me and tell me if this is the correct one.

Pismo:

Basically, the Pismo will take SDRAM PC133 but down clock it to PC100 speed.

The iBook will only take SDRAM PC133

Could be that the Module is a PC100 Module, and thus will work in a Pismo but not an iBook 800.

Don't think you can tell the chips timing from the photo.
