Well the last time i owned an apple was the old apple II gs .. and that was about 12 plus years ago .. if not more.

this thing is just amazing (new pb 12").

but my qeuestion(s):
1. do you "install" somethign by merely dragging it into the application folder .. and then to uninstall you basically just throw it in teh trash?

2. I never offically registered the comp becuase i was lazy and didnt feel like connecting to the internet. is there a specific place that i can do that at.

thanks .. god i love apple.

#1. Yes.
#2. I think you'll find the app in the ~/Appications/ folder.

PS - ~/ = User area

When you first started up you will have had the option to fill in your details and then save it for later if you didn't want to send the info straight away. If you did this, then there should be a "Send Registration" file in the top level of your Home directory (the thing indicated by a house icon and bearing your short username). If that file isn't there, you can either:

a) go to Apple.com and register online there (the better way, IMO)

b) Open the /System/Library/CoreServices/ folder and double click the "Setup Assistant" application to launch it and this will take you through the same procedure as when you first booted up the computer.
