I know you guys are right about to tell me, "hey .. you got a powerbook .. god's telling you to stop using windows" .. i prefer osx to windows xp any day. I just need to have access to some of my pc files and programs. The pc is fine, the monitor died after less than a year and a half .. =(. Anyone know if i can connect the powerbook g4 (rev c) 12incher to the pc? Thanks a bunch guys.

if you've got a VNC server on your PC, (or microsoft remote desktop enabled) you can control your PC from your powerbook over the network.
if you just want files, and you've got file sharing enabled on your PC, you can connect to your PC over the network to get files.
but there's no way to use your powerbook as a monitor.

It'll cost you more to jerry rig something to use your PB display than it is just get a cheap CRT monitor.
If you're just trying to pull data off your desktop, get a cheap harddrive enclosure...not sure if you have to have your PB running on a FAT32 file system or not though...

I found out it's still under warrantee. The problem is, i may need to pull info off during the time it takes to get repaired/replaced. I dont want to have to burn all the stuff on the pc (58gigs used up). Also, I may need access to the computer for it's programs. I also dont want to buy a cheap crt, as i'd be stuck with a piece of junk (space is at a premium), and after buying the powerbook, i'm not in a position of spending on things i'd get rid of soon enough. Thanks for the suggestions though, I was hoping for a adapter or something
thanks again guys
