I'm think to get a 1 Gb Ram from Macsolutions.com, and I have 512Mb already in my Powerbook 1.25Ghz 15 in. I also hear a lot about the airport extreme dropout issue when people have more than 1Gb Ram in their powerbook with airport extreme... so I'm just wonder how many of you guys have more than 1Gb ram with the airport dropout issue...Thanks Thanks,

Yup - mine started dropping out a full 20 minutes after bumping my RAM up from 512MB to 1.5GB. At the moment it's dropping out about once every 5 hours on average - requiring a full reboot to restore functionality.

So what you gonna do about this? Are you going to live with it or just pull the 512 out?? This is something that I really don't want to see ... but I do want to get more ram so that I can run those graphic programs, video editing programs smoother..

Apple are apparently aware of the problem and working on a fix (http://discussions.info.apple.com/We...0K.2@.6892def2), so I'll just sit and wait.

For the majority of the time I'm working from a wired connection in an office, so it's only my home based use that's affected at the moment. It’s inconvenient, but not as much as giving up that extra 512 MB of RAM.
