Hello.

I've been having 2 distinct problems with my recently purchased AlPB 15" model. Sometimes the backlight doesn't appear to come on after an extended period of time. I know it's still on because the CAPS LOCK light comes on when I toggle it.

The other problem that I get almost immediately after restarting from the case above is video corruption. The link below shows a video of what happened.

I wonder if anyone has seen this before I bring it to my local shop for a check-up.

My AlPB is now dead from putting it to sleep after righting the message last night. It won't even boot up now after making the chime even though pressing CAPS LOCK turns the light off and on. The hard-drive doesn't even spin up anymore.

Back to the shop it goes...

Since I realized it was dead I've tried to get my AlPB into target mode so that I could copy some stuff off. Well, turns out that when I tried to boot the system again it made a "DOOOOO" sound instead of the regular chime and then the sleep light quickly flashed about 4-6 times like a disco light before giving up.

Too bad....
