i dont know about everyone else, but the video card update on my computer decreased game performance dramatically. when i was playing halo, it could run at maximum settings, but now it will not run well even on mimimum settings.

ps: theres a halo 1.05 update

Me too. CPU usage increased dramatically on video playback in VLC. About the same in Quicktime. Pretty poor really.

i say we write a letter to apple describing our situation, and ask for another release. its either that, or do a system reinstall.

It is odd as on a lot of Powermacs, owners report that performance has seemingly gone up slightly...

On my Rev. A 12" Powerbook I've found 3D performance to be slightly improved after updating to 10.3.4. I've only been playing Quake 3 and Neverwinter Nights but both have been playing a tad better since the upgrade.
