I searched, but didn't seem to find anything with this question... I have a 700mhz 14" iBook (UV220 Model) with Airport... I've heard that the new AE cards are not compatable (of course) with non-G4 iBooks... Are there no G options for my older iBook? Thanks in advance!

You are correct. There is no internal 802.11g solution for G3 iBooks.

SO, are there any external solutions?

Maybe a USB or Ethernet adapter Not sure about compatability though (and a USB dongle would max out before reaching the theoretical speed limit of 802.11g—11Mb vs. 54Mb). If you really need speed, a wired connection will always be faster (100Mb).
