Since is more cheap for me to travel to the US and buy an ibook there, im wondering where in texas i can find a ibook with immediate delivery.

I mean, i need to go into an apple store and get out the same day carrying an ibook, i just want to go to the US for one day.

Anyone knows where in Texas i can do that ?

Thanks a lot.

Texas is pretty darn big...you'll find a lot of us Texans will make a point of that.

Where do you plan to go in Texas? There are CompUSA stores in Houston, Dallas/Ft Worth, Austin, and San Antoino (that I know of-probably more elsewhere). If they don't have the model of iBook you want at one store, they're probably able to get one shipped to that store on a day's notice.

I'd go to the store you choose early, find out if they have what you want, and buy it if they do. If not, ask them to get it from another store for sale the next day...if they flinch and start "explaining" about shipping, leave, because they don't know what they're talking about.

CompUsa is a safe bet. There is one even in McAllen. In Laredo, I believe there's no CompUsa.

Nevertheless, at Best Buy there are also Apples. Laredo and McAllen do have Best Buy.

I believe the CompUsa site has a locator store which can tell you if there is stock of a certain hardware you are looking for.

buena suerte

There are 2 Apple retail stores in Dallas. One in Uptown and one in Plano. If you need directions for either, let me know!

We have an Apple store that is going to open this Saturday in Austin at Barton Creek Mall. I do not think that best buy has them in stores but I could be wrong. Frys also sells them.

There's also Fry's in Texas, and they have lots of accessories too.
He can be fixed -- you can't.
