A friend of mine has a 14" iBook G3 600 MHz, my notebook is a 17" PowerBook G4 1 GHz. Compared side to side, her iBook display looks a lot brighter than my PowerBook's. Of course, I set brightness of both computers to maximum.

Question: Is this behaviour normal or is something wrong with my PowerBook's display? What are the tech specs concerning display brightness? Is there any way of testing this (software)?

Thanks for your suggestions.
