Hi, on my 12" PowerBook (1 GHz, DVI), the other day when I was trying to insert a disk into my slot-loading SuperDrive, I must have first inserted the disk on an angle (not level with the slot of the drive). I felt some resistance when trying to insert the disk, and it felt like I was damaging the internal mechanisms of the drive because a felt a few clicks and clunks that I usually don't hear/feel when putting the disk in level with the slot. Upon realizing my mistake, I tried to line up the disk with the slot. So, my question is whether or not it is possible that I can damage my slot-loading SuperDrive when I accidentally have tried to insert the disk at an off-angle that is not level with the slot? How durable are the mechanisms inside?
