Lombard recognizes only 128MB of 256MB RAM module

Is there a way to get my PB Lombard (G3 333) to recognize all of the bottom module's 256MB? No matter where I install the module, top or bottom, only 128MB show up in System Profiler. Is there a Firmware upgrade I should install?

No. The memory module is simply not suitable for the lombard.

I use 32Mx64 256mb modules, which work fine.

Modules sold for the t20 and t21 IBM thinkpad 2647 are the correct modules.

Because what you got there is a PC100 DIMM, while back-compatible with Lombard's PC66 slots, can only be recognized up to 128MB.
