I tried the trackpad out at my local Apple dealer, and it was very slow. It wasn't following my finger movement well, or was is just that I'm new to the trackpad thing. I've never used a laptop before.

They are fully adjustable in the preferences panel or by 3rd party applications.

The track pad can be as sensitive or as sluggish as you require...

yeah I used it so much a that I have a white streak on the side of my trackpad now so I uninstalled and now use hte arrow keys. they work great too =P
