Yeah, well my damn brother come into my room and trips and rips the power plug from my G3 800 ibook. Now the plug is all bent and i tried bending it back and it looks kinda like normal. I plug it in and everything works like normal.

My question is that if i keep using it will it some how wreck my puter. (I was reading the forms and someones power adapter sparked and kill there ibook...ahh...please noo!!!
So...your thoughts would be appreciated..

I don't know how badly it's damaged, but I would say "better safe than sorry." Getting a new $70 adapter is better than having to repair a computer, deal with a fire, etc. Plus, if the plug was bent back and forth, it might be weakened, and you wouldn't want it to break off and get stuck in the iBook.

What part of which plug is bent? If it's the part you plug into the wall, you can just straighten out the pins so they fit again (use a good set or pliers to get them really straight and parallel) and you're golden. Just make sure that the pins are only bent, not cracked-you should replace any appliance (the adapter, not the computer!!) with a power plug that badly damaged.

If it's something else... buy a new adapter.
