New 15" Screen Contrast - Degrading

It seems to me that my new 15" screen has seemed to lose substantial contrast. That is really the best way to describe it. I am using a SuperCAL color profile, but even when I use the "Color LCD" profile, the lack of contrast is still evident.

Anybody have any ideas? Is there any way to increase the screen contrast?
