Hi all.

I am thinking of getting a 12 inches powerbook g4 (g4 1.33ghz, 256mb, 60gb, combo...). However, I am not so fond of Mancintosh OS. Is it possible to run Window XP pro instead? Would it cause any problem to operation? Would all the ports still work well? I have heard of the heat problem which could warp the case and fry an egg . Have they fixed that problem in the new model? I have done a research and it shows that even this laptop does not provide the best performance as others but the end-users seem to be very satisfied with the product. I assume it is due to the attractive, elegant design which also draws all my attention to this lappy. Moreover, how long does the battery last? (using wireless, watch dvd, off wireless,...). The manufacture claims it conks out within 5 hrs which is not very true in most cases. What do you reckon the G4 processor's performance versus Pentium M Centrino? I would be very appreciated if any Powerbook users could give me reviews, cons and pros. Many thanks for your valuable helps.

Cheers

If you don't want to run Mac OS (if you're like most PC users, you probably haven't ever used it long enough to have formed an opinion based on reality, mind you!), then you should buy a PC, because you can't run Windows on a Mac natively. (You can do it through Virtual PC, but that's sloooooow.)
