Hi
All you guys 'n' girlz who have Powerbooks on an icurve do you close your lids when you put the PB to sleep?
And does having an external mouse & keyboard plugged into the PB 24/7 cause any problems?

Either closing the lid or using the menu to put it to sleep. But my keyboard and mouse are wireless bluetooth Apple devices so no wires to fuss with. No problems using them either.

The main reason why I close the lid (I have a coolpad, but same question really) is to keep dirt off.
Yes, somethings may wake the computer, but they will regardless if it is closed or just put to sleep, as it has been in my experience.

I leave it open so it can cool off ... no need to warm up the screen . And I can wake it up faster in the mornin, no opening the lid

I leave my PB closed so that the keyboard doesn't get dusty. Having a mouse and keyboard hooked up to it shouldn't be a problem unless you have your PB connected to an external monitor, in which case if something in the middle of the night were to fall on your keyboard or should your pet be captivated by the keyboard then you could kick yourself in the morning for some weird stuff that happened to your PB, nothing extreme mind you, but it' certainly possible for some new folders to appear on your desktop. Just keep the sucker closed if your not using it.
