how do i run this test for new RAM??

do i install the ram then boot up with the original cds? and then what?

As the instructions included with the computer say, to run Hardware Test, you put in the disc, reboot while holding the Option key, and then wait till it searches for all available boot volumes. Click Hardware Test, and then click the "continue" arrow.
