my white ring that is around the battery lock cracked. I have applecare . do you think if I call or send in a form they will just send me a new one? where would I get these forms.
It's not a separate replaceable part. It's part of the bottom case. I have never tried to replace a bottom case, but I would think that they would do that assuming there are no signs of abuse.
oh I see, well then its not a big deal because I just tried the battery lock and it works just fine. Maybe they can do something about when I send the ibook in to get the cd drive fixed though. thanks for the reply.
