have a Ti/550 currently with 1 256MB PC100 SDRAM SO-DIMM.
would like to add more memory, and in particular have in mind a 512MB PC133 SO-DIMM chip. can two DIMMS of different speeds (PC100 vs. PC133) be supported by the PowerBook? if so, does the mobo run them at the two different speeds, or does it run them at the lowest common denominator (i.e. the PC133 would be scaled down to PC100 speed).

thanks in advance for any enlightenment on this issue,
ox

Your computer runs all RAM that you put in at the one speed it supports: PC100. It won't run PC133 faster, even if it's all PC133. Mixing them has no negative effect.
