...onto another machine? Couldn't figure out how; seems like Apple made it so you could _only_ install on a PowerBook. I mean theoretically, I own iLife, right?

Anyway, thoughts on install.

Actually, you own a *license* to iLife, which only allows the installation on one machine. However, nothing in the license prevents you from uninstalling your copy of iLife from your PowerBook and then installing it on another machine. (As far as I know).

It's not easy to get the Restore Disc to install the included software on other machines. You have to find the hidden disk images first.

ah. i've tried a bunch of things (pacifist, et al) but can't "find" these purported images/.pkg files. thoughts?

Using DB Cooper you can extract the GB image from the restore DVD.
