Has anyone tried the SGI 1600SW TFT Display on a 12 inch DVI Powerbook?

I have the chance to buy such a screen (that I always wanted to have) but I am not sure if this complicated adapter setup works and if the Video card of the powerbook supports the screen well.

Is there any experience available?

Sorry I can't help, but I just wanted to say that the SW1600 is so friggin sweet.

I'm running a SGI 1600SW with a dual gig powermac, via the DVI port. My guess is running the SGI with the Powerbook will be fine (I used to run the SGI on a PowerBook G3 (Pismo) via the VGA port; it worked).
