I am having a problem with the video on my Powerbook. I used to play Civilization: Call to Power a lot, and I ran it via Classic. Recently, I've started playing AvP2 (it was $10 at my CompUSA, so I figured why not), and I notice that during the transition from the Finder to the AvP game, for a brief instant, part of the picture from Civilization's main menu flashes on the screen. What flashes up fills the whole screen, but it is zoomed in on part of the Civilization menu. I think that has to do with a resolution change. Anyway, I don't know what is causing it, but I'd like to stop if from happening. I've noticed this with other games I have played on my Powerbook, I just now finally decided to try and fix it.

I'm running 10.3.4 on an 800 MHz Powerbook (DVI). It has a 32 MB ATI Radeon 7500 (maybe 7000) graphics chip.

Thanks.

Wow, now there's a new one I've never heard of. Does it really bother you that much? Does rebooting fix it? There's really not much you can do, but I've never heard of or seen anything like that. Quitting a game should flush video memory.

Quitting a game does not help. This seems to be perpetual. Even rebooting my computer does not help. I would say it has been like this for about a year.
