on my powerbook .. there's a internet wi-fi connection monitor thingy on the menubar .. when i click it, there's a thing for "use interference robustness" ... what's it do, and should i leave it on?

If you have a cordless phone, use it. The cordless phone was playing havoc with my AirPort, enabling this option cleared things up right away.
