I added 256MB RAM to my Sony notebook computer, which died recently. Will this memory work in my new 12" PowerBook? Do Apple computers require memory built specifically for Apple computers? Thanks!

not exactly, there are many different types of ram though, and you must find out which kind before you can tell if you can fit it in the powerbook.
