This probably belongs in Peripherals, but yes, I use the Keyspan adaptor for hooking up my GPS. Are there really still cell phones that use a standard serial connection instead of USB?

No ... but there are no USB drivers for the Mac for this phone, so the recommendation is to get the USB --> Serial cable for the phone and the Serial --> USB cable for the mac and this should work. !?!

There are no USB drivers for an LG phone?

I seem to remember older LG drivers working ok for Verizon, but I can't remember where I got them. I would say use the Search here in the peripherals forum, or try Google.

Or, try HowardForums in the LG or Verizon forum and they talk about it there. http://www.howardforums.com
