hello all, i just recently purchased my first mac and it ismy powerbook.anyhow, my question is that if it is ok to leave the display open i out it to sleep or do i have to close it all the time.urhelp is pretty much appreciated.

I'm not entirely sure what you are asking - your sentence messes up at the important part - is it meant to be "...is it OK to leave the display open if I put it to sleep..."

If so, then the answer is yes, it is OK.

It's fine to leave your PB sleeping. Many PB users here only restart their machine after installing something that asks for restart. You should just leave it on sleep, unless your going to not use it for a week or so.

It's ok to leave your computer open when you put it to sleep, but many people prefer to close it. This will keep dust out of your keyboard and off of your monitor, but it's really up to you.
