Could be a simple solution. Check the apple.com support section.

For example my quicksilver wouldn't boot one day, and it turns out that it's a common problem. I just had to open it and push a well-hidden button.

Might an equally easy solution for you. For certain make sure the pb is plugged in when you try to boot it. As opposed to battery power. If it has been in storage for a long time the battery may have went into deep discharge and lost its ability to hold a charge.

Could be a simple problem, could be complex. I can't imagine you'd be able to get a whole lot for it tho'. Maybe one quarter to one half what you paid for it (and the one half is probably being generous - not a lot of people would be willing to pay that much for a dead laptop).

I also think you're unlikely to get half.

Give more details about the problem. How long has it been since you last used the pwoerbook? Seems questionable that your laptop suddenly stops working and you aren't complaining about what you've lost.

What exactly have you tried? Does the power adapter have a light when plugged in? Does the battery lught up when you push the button on the bottom?

A good working order rev A pb with applecare still on it doesnt go much more than $1000. Half that if you're lucky would be $500, but honestly, I don't think I'd even drop $100-200 unless I was out of warranty and needed to replace my LCD or something.
Are those free-ranged animal crackers?

I'm amazed you're so nonchalant about this, oh well maybe you don't use it that much. You're not going to get much money selling it if you don't even know what is wrong with it. It could be very cheap to fix and you don't even know, or it could be expensive. I'd send it out to Apple. If I'm correct, they will look at it, find the problem and then ask you if you want to have it repaired. Someone else would have to verify this, but I think you have the option of having the machine shipped back to you without being repaired. If you could at least find out what the problem is, I think you'd have a much better chance of selling it, or even having it fixed if it isn't that much.
