i downloaded that firmware hack for my newish ibook and it works great using another monitor(spanning). but i would like to be able to use it in clamshell mode, and i've heard there might be heat issues with the book closed on itself. wouldn't want to damage my "whitey". i've seen those notebook coolers at staples. there all metal and have one or two fans inside taking heat away when the laptop is on them. does it take away a "considerable" amount of heat or is it just a gimmick.

by the way, to anyone reading this who also watches Dead Like Me, it's a show on showtime about grim reapers. The boss of the entire bunch, Rube. He was the damn Spainard in The Princess Bride. I didn't even recognize him!
