Recently I've noticed that my power adapter light stays on amber and never turns green. The battery meter never goes higher than 75% and the "calculating..." for time remaining seems to take forever and sometimes never turns into an actual time. So I reformatted, reset the power management (Shift+Ctrl+Option+Power), and let the battery die and fully charge. I did the battery update 1.1 back in the day and updated again after this reformat. I still get the same thing, power adapter stays on amber and the battery meter never goes past 75%. HOWEVER, I seem to have an extraordinary amount of time between the "Plug in your computer now or it will go into sleep mode" message and before it actually goes to sleep. It takes like 20 minutes for the battery to die after the warning message. I'm going to go home and check things out with XBattery, but any advice? Am I screwed and just have to buy a new battery? And I was thinking of selling it to get a new 15".... sigh.
