Just ordered my 12 inch ibook!

Holy tax batman! That one took me by surprise for some reason. I ordered the 12 inch combo drive ibook. Added a 528 mgs of RAM (it was less than a 40 dollar savings to buy it from Crucial), 60g hdd, internal BT, AE, Applecare.. and a new 20 gig ipod! I only bought it because they are giving 200 dollar refunds if you buy your notebook and ipod at the same time. I had to check the fine print in the "Cram and Jam" promotion, because they made it look like only college students were eligable. (I have a teacher discount)
I went to order a nick zeroshock from shinza.com, but their page seems to be down. I'll have to try again later.
This is going to be the longest week (2 weeks?) ever.
I did give in and decide to buy an iskin. I have a happy peppy puppy who is always running around on my bed, so i figured I'd combat doghair.
Oh i'm sooooooo excited!@#!@#!@#@!

Congrats!!! Having AE is a must. You are going to learn that your little 12" is an attention grabber. every time I'm out doing a little wireless, some glazed eye PC user wants to ask me 50 ques. about my ibook. Be patient.
While you are waiting for yours to arrive just enjoy all the pictures people post of theirs when they get em!

I just purchase a very similiar iBook and iPod combination and also t he zeroshock sleeve. The zeroshock sleeve seems like it may take awhile to ship for whatever reason, I don't know. But so far I am happy with everything else. Let me know how the iSkin works and feels for you, because I was also interested in purchasing it.

I love how they add on the tax later, AFTER you've agreed to the price already. Tax on my iBook was $110, which they told me about after I had consented to the already expensive $1500 worth of iBook and AirPort. Sneaky, sneaky, Apple!

Yeah, why is it that all other mail order companies are able to not charge state sales tax, but the Apple Store does?
Personally, I deal with SmallDog Electronics because they have great service AND no tax.
