In my room, I have the desktop computer at the moment, my room has the modem and everything, with a cable jack in the wall, which obviously connects to the modem which goes into my computer. This desktop will goto my sisters room, I don't want the cable wire going into the modem to wind from my room into hers, is there something I can install into my PC so that I can leave the modem in my room, then connect it to the router I'll get, and basically is it possible for me to wirelessy use the desktop on the same connection as the iBook will?

Yeah you can. Just buy a wireless router and a wireless PCI card or a USB adapter for your PC desktop.

The 2 stock configuration's do not - the third one (The 14" does) - but you can add one to the other two.
