Currently my screen is looking just as wonderful as it has always looked, but now when I come back from work or first thing in the morning, if the display is asleep, when I awaken it, the entire screen looks like I have a red channel that is overpowering everything. It slowly fades away to normal but this is VERY discomforting as I don't have the money to replace anything.

Any Ideas?

Might be the famous logic board issue. If this is the case, it's covered by Apple.
