Does anyone leave their PowerBook charging in a sleeve when not in use? I just purchased a WaterField Designs sleeve (very nice!) and I'd like to keep my PowerBook charged (but left in the bag). Would this cause anything to overheat or catch fire?

Thanks!

I do it all the time.

If everything is working well, not enough heat is generated while charging a battery. However, the cooler things stay the better.

I've charged mine a couple of times sat in it's sleeve with the zip undone, and it seems to have done no harm. I in it's sleeve (tuscano 2nd skin). Mind you these things do get pretty hot so I'd probably take it out of the sleeve if you have that option.

I've charged mine in the sleeve once in a while... it shouldn't hurt anything at all. I would always recomend keeping it out if you have that option. However, sometimes you just want the protection of the sleeve when charging.
