Hi, I finally switched a month ago. I just love my new 15" 1.5 ghz PB. However, the PB makes a very faint, constant ticking noise when the AC adapter is hooked to it (you can only hear it if the room is super quiet or if you place your ear near the keyboard). No noise is present when operating from battery power. Has anyone else experienced this also? Am I just hearing an electric current from the AC adapter?

I have the older Ti-Book and they all make a faint clicking. It's the video card I believe. When the AC is plugged in your comp is running in a different energy saver setting. Could be that the disk is being accessed more or something. I wouldn't worry.

I have an 867Mhz PB and have noticed the same sound, again, only while connected to the AC adapter. It's perfectly normal, no worries.
