I released Capacity Monitor about a month ago. It's a utility that tests your PowerBook's battery capacity, and monitors changes. Basically it will let you know if your battery is degrading or already has. Since I listed it on MacUpdate and VersionTracker, I have received a lot of emails with users claiming that the program does not work properly on their machines.

Since then, I have tweaked the program and added more features. Before I finish everything up, I was hoping that some MacNN forum readers could test things out and let me know of any issues they are having (previous e-mails have been quite vague.)

Seems to work fine here.

12" Rev B.

Battery charge seems to be 1% more than the Apple menu item.
Refresh hits the CPU (My Energy Saver settings are set for longest battery life though) and iTunes will stutter.

Seesm to pretty much match with:

ioreg -p IODeviceTree -n "battery" | grep IOBatteryInfo

But I guess that's what you are doing anyway?
