Hey everyone!
Its been about 10months since the big switch and as if you need to know its awesome and i have ZERO complaints except for the fact tha ti leave for college at the end of the month and i want my ibook to be wireless. I have a G4 800/640/60 with OSX and first i want to make sure i have airport extreme instead of old airport and two i found a airport extreme card on apples website "apple certified" for 69$ and the base station for 129$ also apple certified refurbished, i wonderd if these were good deals and i fi should buy those instead of new ones to save some cash?

Get the card, but not the base station. You can get products with better range for a lot less money. I've had good experiences with Netgear wireless routers.

If you don't need huge range, and are interested in AirTunes, an Airport Express is also good.

I say get a brand new card for only $10 (just incase the otehr one has something wrong with it, and I think its only $79 with the edu discount.) The airport express is also awesome and i think its only $119 with the discount. I mention the discount cause you said your a student. Check it out at apple.com.
