Hey, unfortunately my 17" got a pretty deep scratch on the top a little up and to the right of the Apple logo - anyone have a good method in removing it / making it slightly better?

Dang, that sucks. Sorry but I don't know what could possibly take that out. I don't think buffing it with anything would do and it would probably put more scuffs on it. Maybe you could find some plastic silver filler stuff that they use on cars? Anyway, good luck.

forget it. the only dent that hurts is the first one so get over it. you can cover it up with a Macskinz product, but other than that there is no way to repair let alone remove it (i could be wrong but i doubt it).
