Hi,

I was able to pick up a cheap $50 upgrade for my pismo - the processor from 400mhz to 500mhz. I'm thinking it will bring some more life into the pismo.

With the new processor, do I have to change anything else. For example, I think that's the heatsink on top of the processor - do I have to change that to a better one also or is my current one good enough?

I would say that is not neccesary, but check that the cpu has the thermal paste on it, I think it is important, maybe some of the guys that have upgraded theirs have a better knowledge.
