Hi,

Which G4 processor upgrade is the best? I see several companies offering the upgrade. Is the 550mhz much better than the 500mhz? Are the advertised advantages true?

Have there been any issues or problems with your upgrade?
Would you recommend this upgrade?

In short, both the Fastmac and the Daystar G4 upgrades have gotten good reviews, while the others (Powerlogix G3 and Newer Tech) have gotten decidedly mixed reviews (esp the Powerlogix re heat issues).

Two differences between Fastmac and Daystar: the Fastmac is cheaper by about $50 and only requires you to send in the processor rather than the entire laptop.
