Hello there,

I want to invest some money in a good CRT for photoshop work. But the fact is that as a student I am totally broke so I can't buy myself a nice Cinema Display. So I was looking to something like a LaCie 19" or a Sony G500 and thianks to people buying LCD monitors these big CRTs are cheap. Now I have a TiBook 867 with a 32MB Radeon card. Can this card drive the internal LCD and the external display at 1600x1200 @85hz ? And this without performance loss for Exposé (I don't want exposé to stutter). If not, is it possible to disable the internal display while using the internal LCD ? Like clamshell mode, but I don't want to close the machine because I'm afraid it would suffer from the heat when running with a closed display lid.
