I have a rev b 12" powerbook and all of a sudden my bluetooth is acting like it doesn't exist! I'm using it primarily as a desktop replacement with an lcd hooked up, and it worked at night, but when I woke up, the bluetooth no longer worked.

Here's what my bluetooth icon looks like in the menu bar:

and notice in system prefs how the bluetooth icon is gone under hardware, and the only reason it is there at is because I dragged it to the top as a favorite.

Is there any fix for this? It seems as if my computer is acting like I don't have a bluetooth card in there in the first place.

All you need to do is reset the PMU and your BT will come back.

PeterKG, you are the man!!!!
The same thing happened to me this weekend and I started to freak out. I thought my bluetooth was dead and that maybe something else had caused it to fry. I just knew I'd be spending some of my hard earned cash to fix it. Then I saw this post and your solution to it. And it worked right away.
THANK YOU!!
