Hi, I have a 1Ghz 12inch PB and I use it lid closed about 85% of the time. Is there any way I can turn it on from the outside. The keyboard that came with my PowerMac G4 400Mhz can turn the Computer on is there anything out there for my powerbook?
I guess I might sound lazy but I don't like opening the lid pressing the powerbutton the closing it.

Well if you keep it asleep then the mouse or keyboard clicks should wake it.

I know thats not exactly answering your question.

Drill a hole in the lid right above the power button.

i'm still trying to find out if there's a way to kill the display when a external is plugged in. anyone know? pm please =P

I found out that if I have everything pluged in while it is off the then open the screen press the Powerbutton then close the screen right away. This works good but I would really like to have a external power button.
