I just [finally] ordered my PowerBook.

15" 1.5GHz G4
128MB graphics
80GB 5400rpm HDD
Superdrive
AE (duh)
Backlit keyboard
Final Cut Express
Applecare (ofcourse)

I paid for the expidited shipping method and am obviously very excited. I ordered last night (Wednesday) and it is currently OPEN and the est. shipping time will be on or before Sept. 16th. Now since I paid extra for the 3-5 day shipping I'm assuming it most likely will ship before the 16th right?

The Applecare is shipping in 1-2 days so at least I have that to look forward to first (a box ho boy).

And yes I'd like to thank everyone in this forum for helping contribute to my decision though I didn't ask any questions, I just kinda lurked

It's about time someone caught on! So is this 3-5 business days shipping time accurate to a tee not including any unexpected difficulties?

Yeah i got my powerbook after graudating and my whole family was present, it was really cool.
Same type of feeling when opening my first iPod although not as much.
Hopefully when i buy the imac it will have similar packaging.

Instant gratification ! Future PowerBook users could learn from this and record that special moment.
