Anyone else still having airport problems?

I've got a rev a 17" pb with 1Gb of ram, and my reception drops off every now and then (even though the reception bar says im still connected) and it is very f****** annoying!

I know this was a problem for many a while back, and apple have released a couple of airport updates, but none have helped me at all!

Just wondered if anyone else is still having the same problems, or am i the only one?!

What Router are you using? Do you have any cordless devices that could interfere with the WLAN? I assume you already tried to switch on "interference robustness", right?

I havent got any problems at all (17" rev c), airport express works like a charm with any router that I've come across yet. (netgear, linksys, cisco and of course the apple extreme/express stations)

my 2.4 cordless phone was killing my airport reception regularly (just got a 5.8 phone & the problem is gone)

also, try changing channels in the airport admin utility.

You may need to turn off IPV6 in your wireless settings on you powerbook..

It has been said the IPV6 seriously screws with certain routers...

Give it a shot and post back if it fixed it.
