Hi All
Our Powerbook (12" 1Ghz) has developed the (seemingly) common fault with it's power supply socket. The connection seems to be loose and it fluctuates between orange and green.
Obviously, this is a major problem - potentially, we can't power the machine. This fault must be a bit of an embarressment, since these things are supposed to be so solid.
What are my options? Do we cimply have to send it for repair? I'm pretty sure it's still under warrenty.
Thanks
Ben

Apologies if that seemed OTT - very often, I see replies almost straight away.
The phrase 'call Apple' sounds like the beginning of many-a knightmare I've read about online.
But, yes - it shall be done.

well you asked for options and calling apple I think is the only viable option you have.

I was hoping others may have had similiar experiences and may be able to say 'ah, it's the such-and-such and you need to make sure you do such-and-such'. That's what a forum is all about, presumably.
But thanks for the replies.
