i have a 15" 1.5 ghz pb, with the faster HD and the extra video card mem.

i ran the xbench test and did so several times. the results were fairly consistent coming out to about 128.

does that seems right? good? bad?

can anyone else post results with their powerbook, regardless of specifications and type?

xbench is free benchmark tool, for those of you who were lost like me...

quite consistant i'd say. i scored 120 with my 1.33GHz with the stock drive. 8-12 points more is probably the difference between my computer and yours

thanks for the reply. i did a search by the way, but i only get a few posted results. i wanted a good comparison.

i also went to the xbench website, but the results range from 80 to 150. and some of the higher scores 140-150 come from slower machines!

i just wanted more macnn reader feedback. (this is in case someone says to use the search button or links the xbench website.)
